Trackables
CacheSense allows you to log and view trackable items (eg. geocoins and Travel Bugs®) and to manage an inventory of trackables in your possession.
  • Geocache Inventory: select the Trackables... menu option from the cache detail screen to view the list of items currently in the cache. Select an item and choose WebSite... from the menu to open the detail page for the trackable item at geocaching.com.
  • Personal Inventory: CacheSense maintains an inventory of trackable items that you have picked up from caches. You can view and edit this list under Options... then "Trackables”. Use the Add Trackable... menu option to enter your initial inventory.
    TIP: When entering trackable details manually you can ignore the ”Reference” field and enter anything you like in the “Name” field but you must enter the correct tracking number from the ite in the “Tracking Number” field, you can use the “Website...” button to look up the correct name and reference if you wish.
  • Logging Trackables: Use the Log Trackable... menu option on the field notes screen when you pickup, grab, drop or discover a trackable item. When picking up an item you can choose from any of the trackables known to be in the cache or enter an item manually, this item will be added to your personal inventory (and removed from the cache inventory). When dropping a trackable you can select an item from your personal inventory or enter one manually, this item will be removed from your personal inventory and added to the cache inventory. Trackable logs are included when you email or export field notes.
