CacheSense

Upgrade Instructions

As of the v3.0 release CacheBerry has been renamed to CacheSense, due to the way the BlackBerry® OS manages application data it is important to delete CacheBerry prior to installing CacheSense. Please review the following instructions carefully.

CacheSense 1. If you wish to retain all of your existing CacheBerry data and settings please create a CacheBerry backup (Options | Backup/Restore) first.

2. Delete CacheBerry via Application Options or Desktop Manager. Allow your phone to reboot if prompted.

3. Install CacheSense. CacheSense will install in the 30-day free trial mode, you can register it using your existing CacheBerry registration code.

4. If you created a backup in step 1 you can now restore it via Options | Backup/Restore.

Tips

1. If you are using an older version of CacheBerry without the backup option you can upgrade to v2.6 first in order to create the backup.

2. Application Options are found under BlackBerry Options (the wrench icon) | Applications (OS 5.0) or Options | Advanced Options | Applications (OS 4.2 thru OS 4.7). You can also delete CacheBerry via the BlackBerry Desktop Manager if you use ALX installers (start the Application Loader and de-select CacheBerry in the application list).

3. If you have lost your code you can retrieve it at http://support.cachesense.com. If your email address has changed since you registered please contact support@cachesense.com with your full name and the old email address (if you can remember it) and we’ll retrieve your registration information for you.
